Team WinTech and King enjoyed a successful day at the 2025 Women’s Head of the River, recording two Pennant wins and a host of representation across various boat classes. In pristine conditions and soaring temperatures that topped out at 17c, hundreds of women took to the Thames to fight it out over the reverse Championship Course. As always, we were out in force, supporting dozens of clubs.

Following up on the Senior and U23 Trials, Boston once again hosted hundreds of athletes for the junior rendition of the GBRT trialling process. Racing was split over two days, with athletes starting in singles and club-focused pairs before moving into doubles and alternative pairs for Sunday. WinTech came away with several outstanding results, resoundingly reinforcing our reputation as one of the UK’s premier junior boatbuilders.

Team WinTech began 2025 with excellent results at the GBRT February Senior and U23 trials, representing the second staging post on the road to international honours in the summer. A host of the UK’s top male and female athletes descended on Boston to test themselves against their peers over the 5km stretch, with both returning Olympians and future stars present and accounted for.

Team WinTech provided yet another resounding statement as to why we are so often the choice of champions with a category win in the W1x, 2nd place in the M1x and numerous top-25 finishes at the GBRT U19 Early ID Trials. Around 25% of athletes across both events elected to row in WinTech Racing Boats.

Team WinTech and King had a blistering 2024 Head of the Charles Regatta, securing 15 gold medals alongside 14 silvers and seven bronzes, with 17 additional medals handed out for fourth and fifth-placed finishes.
