Available in 4+ and 8+ the King is a staple of US Collegiate & Junior Rowing Programmes. This smooth running, fast yet stable hull is holder of World Championship medals and course records at events around the world including Henley Royal Regatta & Head of the Charles.

It’s long waterline helps fight boat check and porpoising, the large fin helps stabilise your crew and the higher rocker with responsive rudder makes this hull easy to manoeuvre, perfect for curvy venues.

The combination of speed, stability and manoeuvrability make this an ideal choice for school and university crews who often have less water time compared to other programmes. These hulls are available in construction options "King" built for competitive racing and "King SE" optimised for high performance and elite racing.

HULL SHAPE

This model is an evolution of the record breaking King hull designed by ex-Harvard boatman Graeme King which has become a staple amongst US college crews. The long waterline of this easy to sit yet extremely fast hull helps fight boat check and porpoising and the high rocker with responsible rudder makes this boat extremely easy to manoeuvre.

These smooth running, fast yet stable hull holds course records at many regattas and head races including Head of the Charles and are available in two construction options

HULL FINISH

These hulls come as standard in silver and black trim with but custom colours are available on request. The interior is a spread tow "chequerboard" carbon finish.

Optimised for high performance & elite racing

Our King SE construction goes above and beyond many elite level brands when it comes to the materials used in construction utilising only the highest grade of unidirectional prepreg high modulus carbon fibre. This ensures unmatched durability, impact resistance as well as torsional and longitudinal stiffness for ultimate performance.

Our King model utilises a stiff yet durable full carbon construction which means it offers the same (or better) material and construction methodology choice as other elite level boat builders but at a more affordable price point.
